Wine can be transported via ocean containers in two ways: either in bottles or bulk flexitanks. When using bottles, shippers can transport 9,000 liters per 20ft container, while flexitanks allow for the transportation of 24,000 liters.

Wineries at the destination have received training on using powerful pumps for discharge. However, this approach can inadvertently draw in the PE film, potentially obstructing the valve during the discharge process. This issue has led to significant wine residue remaining inside the Flexitank, resulting in substantial losses. To address this concern, LAF Wine Flexitanks have been meticulously designed with a unique structure that facilitates efficient wine discharge, yielding only a minimal residue, even without the need for manual intervention.
